| Mom's 38 |
Like many other people, I try to make it a habit to go to a Rod Run as often as I can. Unfortunately, my bills won't let me go as often as I would like. This year I was able to spend a little time in Baton Rouge at the Labor Day Rod Run held every year by the Ramblin Oldies of Denham Springs (R.O.D.S.). These are a few of the nifty cars I saw while I was there. The car on the left is one that I have seen there for many years. They call it "Mom's 38". It may have been around awhile, but ain't it a beaut?

Daring aren't they? Do you know just how hard it is to get a car's body straight enough to paint it solid black? I shudder to think of the hours that went into this baby. Believe me fellas, this was more than worth it!

| Gotta have accessories! |
Nope, it's not the purple people eater. These people, like so many others, have the right idea. If you've gotta put a trailer behind your rod - accessorize! Don't go away because I'm gonna show you some more of the kewl cars that were there. You won't want to miss 'em!
